About the Role

This position is responsible for multiple functions in the activities area of the Recreation Department at the Hershey Lodge. As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Hosting scheduled activities and events current for the season*
• Participating in costume as a Hershey Product Character*
• Welcoming guests and children to the property at the Kid's Check In*
• Assisting with special events and themed weekends*
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Child Care or customer service experience a plus.
• This position requires obtaining Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law clearances:
• Report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).
• Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse).
• Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI).
• Completed clearances are required to be submitted prior to starting employment.

• Professional people skills and personable interaction with individuals of all ages.
• Professional image representative of property image.

Job Demands

• Physical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and ability to tolerate heat.
• Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
• Schedule is primarily second shift. Schedule may vary according to operational needs, with weekends and Holidays required.
