About the Role
Ladel is building people and company search for Indian recruiters and sales teams. This role will help improve the data and search quality behind that experience.
- Location: Mumbai (On-site)
- Duration: 3 months
- Commitment: 40 hours per week
- Expected start date: 1 December 2026
- Compensation: Paid internship
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and analyze professional and company datasets using Python and SQL.
- Identify missing information, duplicate records, and inconsistencies.
- Explore how skills, job titles, and industries can be organized to improve search.
- Build and evaluate simple models and experiments for matching and relevance.
- Document findings and work with engineering to turn useful experiments into product improvements.
Requirements & Tech Stack

Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and pandas.

An understanding of statistics and basic machine-learning concepts.

A college, personal, or internship project you can explain clearly.

Careful attention to data quality and a willingness to investigate unexpected results.

Availability to work on-site in Mumbai for 3 months, 40 hours per week.

Experience with scikit-learn, text processing, or embeddings is a plus.

Prior professional experience is not required.
