About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work alongside registered pharmacists to support the smooth operation of the Outpatient Pharmacy Support Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and distribute prescriptions with precision.
- Enter prescription information into computer systems accurately.
- Manage billings and maintain detailed files.
- Process payments for prescriptions and other purchases.
- Stock and organize medication inventory.
- Engage with patients and the public in a helpful and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with and support registered pharmacists.
All work performed under the supervision of a licensed registered pharmacist.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- Requires valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
