About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Engineer Intern to support sales and new product launches. This role will utilize your technical background to influence how industrial power solutions are positioned, explained, and brought to market. You will work on real product marketing and launch initiatives, translating technical concepts into clear materials for customers, sales teams, and other partners. This is a strong fit for individuals pursuing an engineering degree and seeking experience beyond a traditional design-engineering role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with product marketing strategies, product launches, and go-to-market materials for industrial power solutions.
- Create and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, technical content, application stories, and white papers.
- Develop clear customer value propositions and messaging.
- Conduct competitive product, market, customer-needs, and emerging-technology research.
- Support field sales teams with product information, training, and customer-facing materials.
- Develop customer success stories, case studies, and content for industry events.
- Support digital marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, reputation-building, and customer awareness programs.
- Collaborate across engineering, product management, sales, and regional marketing teams.
- Translate technical concepts into information understandable by customers and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to project-based work that may include customer or field exposure and hands-on technical assignments.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Active enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technical Marketing, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Interest in industrial automation, electrical power, manufacturing, product management, or technical marketing is preferred.
- Previous internship, co-op, academic project, technical writing, presentation, or leadership experience is beneficial.
- Experience developing or presenting technical content for technical and non-technical audiences is beneficial.
- Experience managing multiple projects or working across different functional teams is beneficial.
- Interest in combining engineering knowledge with customer, business, and marketing strategy is beneficial.
