UI/UX Design Intern(Unpaid)

About the Role

• This is a remote, unpaid UI/UX Design Intern role, focused on supporting the design of digital experiences across Small Fare® brands.
• The internship is intended for individuals looking to gain practical experience in UI/UX within a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
• Duration: 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating user flows, wireframes, and mockups.
• Contribute to prototypes that bring product ideas to life.
• Conduct basic user research.
• Refine visual design elements.
• Collaborate with product and development teams.
• Prepare design assets for implementation.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Iterate based on feedback.
• Help ensure consistent, user-centered experiences across web and mobile interfaces.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Mockups and Visual Design to create clear, visually cohesive interface layouts.
• Skills in Prototyping and User Experience Design (UED) to translate concepts into interactive, user-centered experiences.
• Foundational skills in Front-End Development to understand how designs are implemented in code and collaborate effectively with developers.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Basic knowledge of responsive design principles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow design guidelines.
• Openness to feedback and iteration.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
