About the Internship

A WordPress Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites using the WordPress content management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Installing and configuring WordPress on web servers and integrating it with other technologies.
• Customizing existing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Building and maintaining custom WordPress-based solutions (e.g., e-commerce sites, membership sites, custom post types).
• Optimizing the performance and scalability of WordPress-based websites.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to WordPress-based websites.
• Collaborating with other team members (e.g., web designers, project managers).
• Staying up-to-date with the latest WordPress development best practices and trends.
• Knowledge of SEO for pages.
• Continuously learning new technologies, frameworks, and tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of HTML and PHP.
• Experience working with WordPress.
• Experience building responsive websites.
• Knowledge of web development best practices and standards.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Well-organized with effective communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of WordPress.
• Experience with WordPress and building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• Experience with other web technologies and frameworks.
• Understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.
• Understanding of web hosting and server management.
