Accounts & Taxation Associate

About the Role

FINCORE BRIDGE LLP is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Taxation Associate. The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities, account reconciliations, taxation-related assignments, financial reporting, client coordination, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and perform day-to-day accounting activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and periodic financial reports.
• Support taxation-related assignments, including tax computations, return preparation, and compliance activities.
• Assist with GST-related work, reconciliations, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review financial data and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with clients for information gathering, follow-ups, documentation, and resolution of queries.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with team members and support other accounting and finance-related activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or similar applications will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients and team members.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Master's degree, or an equivalent qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
