The Architectural Intern role at Imagine Studio is a full-time, on-site position located in Kolkata for a period of 6 months. The intern will assist in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and supporting project documentation under the guidance of senior team members. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional design environment and build practical skills in architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural concepts.
• Prepare drawings.
• Support project documentation.
• Create design sketches.
• Work on CAD or 3D models.
• Prepare presentation materials.
• Coordinate with the team on design revisions.
• Integrate design solutions with functional requirements.
• Participate in site visits, measurements, and basic client meeting preparations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including familiarity with design principles and basic project workflows.
• Skills in Solution Architecture and Integration to support cohesive design solutions that align with project requirements and constraints.
• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly, collaborate with team members, and document design work effectively.
• Proficiency in design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Basic knowledge of building materials and construction methods.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred.
• A portfolio demonstrating academic or practical design work.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata in a structured team environment are essential.
