IDeaS G3 Training Consultant

About the Role

This position will serve as a key contributor to training, learning adoption, and change management efforts associated with system implementations and enhancements, in addition to providing global support for revenue management and reservation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver engaging virtual training programs for hotel, regional, and corporate teams supporting the revenue management and reservation systems, including IDeaS G3, PRIO, Reserve, Opera, Opera Cloud, and SynXis.
• Serve as a lead facilitator for virtual instructor-led training sessions, webinars, office hours, and implementation workshops, demonstrating strong screen presence and presentation skills.
• Create high-quality learning content including video tutorials, e-learning materials, quick reference guides, job aids, user guides, SOPs, implementation checklists, and knowledge articles.
• Apply instructional design principles to develop effective learning experiences that improve system adoption, knowledge retention, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Global RM Support and implementation teams to identify skill gaps, training needs, and opportunities to improve learning effectiveness.
• Support the development and execution of communication and change management strategies related to revenue management system implementations and enhancements.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline content creation, training development, documentation maintenance, knowledge management, and learner support.
• Coordinate pre-, mid-, and post-implementation training activities to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of new systems and functionality.
• Maintain and continuously improve learning assets and documentation repositories to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational standards.
• Support translation and localization efforts for training materials and system documentation when required.
• Utilize data and learner feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to learning programs and implementation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience creating professional video tutorials, software demonstrations, and digital learning content.
• Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and training development best practices.
• Experience facilitating virtual training sessions for global audiences.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner for audiences with varying levels of system expertise.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to develop learning content, training materials, process documentation, and communication assets.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience supporting organizational change, system adoption, and user enablement initiatives.
• Revenue management system expertise, particularly with IDeaS G3 and SynXis.
• System implementation and hotel operations knowledge.
• Instructional design and training development capabilities.
• Strong virtual facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience creating video-based learning content.
