Engineering /Technology Co-Op

About the Role

Sanmina Corporation is seeking highly qualified candidates for an Engineering / Technology Co-Op position in Fremont, CA. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real products and equipment within the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design processes and methods for manufacturing highly complex products.
• Manufacture and support highly complex products for the worldwide semiconductor industry.
• Work directly with various systems involved in the research, design, and manufacture of mission-critical products in the semiconductor industry on wafer fabrication machines.
• Engage in complex machining, cleanroom assembly, integration, and test.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related program at an accredited school.
• Must have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
• Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
• Co-Ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week.
• International students can be considered under CPT program guidelines.

Qualifications

• A sophomore, junior, senior, or master's student.
• Passionate about working directly with various systems involved in the research, design, and manufacture of mission-critical products in the semiconductor industry.
• Passionate about working in a highly technical team environment in complex machining, cleanroom assembly, integration, and test.
• Analytical, always seeking better and more efficient ways to do things.
