About the Role
The Accountant B role at NSK Steering Systems America is responsible for understanding and applying accounting principles and procedures, inventory control, coordinating month-end closing procedures, the analysis of financial information, and preparation of accurate and timely financial reports and statements within the framework of established accounting policies and procedures. The primary function for this role is Accounts Receivable & Treasury.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in month-end and year-end closing of the general ledger at the direction of the supervisor.
- Account reconciliations.
- Monthly analysis including sales, SG&A, and price variance.
- Assists with inventory related activities for the corporation including physical inventory.
- Prepare and recommend improvements in systems and procedures.
- Financial statement preparation and review.
- Maintain lease accounting and schedules.
- May participate in the annual business plan preparation.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 0-5 years of position-related experience.
- Preferably public accounting experience.
