Facilities Manager

About the Role

The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and safety of the office and related facilities. This role manages building services to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage building services such as housekeeping, security, utilities, and office equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and service agreements.
• Monitor budgets, purchase orders, and inventory for facilities-related supplies.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support space planning, office moves, and workstation allocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address facilities requests promptly.
• Continuously improve workplace infrastructure and processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in facilities management, building operations, or office administration.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, vendor management, contract negotiation, and basic budgeting for facilities and office services.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety standards, local building regulations, and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple facilities tasks and projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Familiarity with facilities management tools or ticketing systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience managing facilities for growing organizations or startups is beneficial.
• Interest in AI-driven workplaces is beneficial.
