Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, engineering, and execution of HVAC systems for offshore, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, and industrial projects.
- Perform HVAC design calculations.
- Conduct equipment selection.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination.
- Prepare engineering deliverables in accordance with international codes, client specifications, and project requirements.
- Analyze simple structures.
- Perform structural design under guidance.
- Understand drawings.
- Develop simple models along with drawings.
- Use codes under guidance.
- Lead projects with a team of up to 10 associates.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Industrial and Offshore HVAC Design.
- Hazardous area HVAC design for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical facilities.
- Expertise in ventilation and pressurization systems for classified areas.
- Familiarity with 3D engineering environments such as: Smart 3D (S3D), E3D, PDMS.
- Understanding of structural engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of applicable tools.
Proficiency in
- HAP (Carrier)
- IES VE (Preferred)
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP
- Navisworks
- Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Experience working with EPC/EPCM organizations.
- Up to 5 years’ experience is typically required.
