Junior Site Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Site Engineer to support the Project Manager and Site Engineers in supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities. The Junior Site Engineer will work closely with site supervisors, contractors, and labour teams to ensure construction work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and monitoring daily construction activities at the project site.
• Review and understand architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
• Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, vendors, and labour teams.
• Monitor daily work progress and report updates to the Senior Engineer or Project Manager.
• Assist in checking the quality of construction work and materials.
• Conduct site measurements and maintain measurement records.
• Monitor material usage and inform the concerned team about material requirements.
• Assist in preparing daily work reports, progress reports, and site documentation.
• Ensure proper execution of civil works, including RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
• Identify site-related issues and report them to the senior team for resolution.
• Ensure workers follow site safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assist in coordinating inspections and quality checks.
• Monitor labour productivity and daily work activities.
• Support the team in achieving project timelines and construction targets.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, materials, and completed work.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of civil construction processes and site execution.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and quality standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with site teams and contractors.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work full-time at the project site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant site experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in residential villas, apartments, commercial buildings, or real estate projects will be an added advantage.
