About the Role
The Research and Development Intern will support BusinessGarh® in exploring new ideas, analyzing startup ecosystems, and contributing to innovation-driven projects aligned with the organization’s mission. This full-time, on-site role based in Raipur involves conducting primary and secondary research on startups, markets, and technologies; synthesizing findings into clear reports and presentations; and assisting in the design and evaluation of programs, services, and tools for entrepreneurs. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, test concepts, and refine solutions that enhance startup support offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on startups, markets, and technologies.
- Synthesize findings into clear reports and presentations.
- Assist in the design and evaluation of programs, services, and tools for entrepreneurs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, test concepts, and refine solutions.
- Prepare research briefs.
- Maintain documentation.
- Support pilot projects or experiments.
- Communicate insights to mentors and leadership.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Research and Development (R&D) and Research skills: Ability to design studies, gather data, and derive actionable insights.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Communication skills: Ability to present findings and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Laboratory Skills or technical experimentation experience (when required for specific research projects).
- Familiarity with startup ecosystems or business concepts.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive learning mindset.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in business, economics, engineering, science, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Raipur on a full-time schedule.
