Civil Engineer

About the Role

SRB CONSTRUCTION LLP is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to join their team in Kokrajhar. This role operates on a hybrid model, offering both on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure projects.
• Preparing drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site visits and inspections.
• Coordinating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Monitoring project progress.
• Supporting stormwater and drainage solutions.
• Reviewing technical documentation.
• Assisting in cost estimates and scheduling.
• Contributing to quality assurance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of construction processes and outcomes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Civil Engineering Design
• Construction Projects (planning, coordination, technical oversight)
• Planning and Project Execution (scheduling, resource allocation, progress monitoring)
• Stormwater Management practices and drainage design
• Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and reports.
• Understanding of construction codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently under time constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction projects.
• Knowledge of relevant local and national standards.
• Relevant professional certifications or registration (or progress toward registration) in civil engineering practice is an advantage.
