About the Role
The role includes managing sourcing and procurement activities related to clinical research and clinical supply chain management projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and evaluating global suppliers.
- Conducting market research.
- Obtaining and comparing quotations.
- Negotiating commercial terms.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely procurement of required products and services.
- Managing purchase requests.
- Managing purchase orders.
- Managing supplier documentation.
- Managing vendor relationships.
- Cost optimisation.
- Ensuring compliance with internal procurement procedures.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to support project requirements.
- Maintaining procurement records.
- Monitoring order status.
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Qualifications
- Experience in global sourcing, vendor identification, and supplier management.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, quotation comparison, and commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of import and export procedures and international procurement processes.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work with global vendors and internal teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project timelines.
