Role: Finance Intern
About the Role
Biotastic Health Systems is seeking a Finance Intern to maintain up-to-date and audit-ready financial records. The company specializes in premium wellness and recovery equipment, including ice baths, infrared saunas, red light therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen chambers. This role is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations, from entry to reconciliation, to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Post daily entries in Tally (sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journals) against supporting documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor and customer ledgers weekly.
- Keep receivables, payables, and expense trackers in Excel updated weekly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS: expense summary, cash position, and ledger summaries.
- Compile and file vouchers, invoices, and GST/TDS data for the CA and auditors.
- Flag missing bills, duplicate entries, and mismatches, and resolve them within the agreed turnaround time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of Tally and basic accounting entries.
- Strong Excel skills for data handling, reporting, and analysis.
- A solid grasp of accounting principles.
- Prior finance or accounting internship or practical exposure (preferred).
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com / BBA / CA Inter / CMA.
