About the Role
MedTourEasy AP is a global healthcare company seeking a Data Analyst Trainee for a remote traineeship program. The trainee will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare and operational data, performing basic data analysis, preparing statistical summaries, and supporting the creation of dashboards and reports. This role involves interpreting data insights, contributing to data modeling, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare and operational data from multiple sources.
- Perform basic data analysis.
- Prepare statistical summaries.
- Support the creation of dashboards and reports for internal teams and partner healthcare providers.
- Help interpret data insights.
- Contribute to data modeling activities.
- Communicate findings in clear formats for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Document methods.
- Maintain data accuracy.
- Collaborate with senior analysts on ongoing projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Analytical Skills
- Foundational Data Analytics capabilities
- Knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to real-world datasets
- Basic Data Modeling skills, including understanding of data structures and relational concepts
- Communication skills for presenting data insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Interest in global healthcare systems and willingness to learn about healthcare data and regulatory considerations is an advantage.
