About the Role
WriteBing is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to help reach postgraduate students and researchers online. This is a hands-on internship with mentorship and opportunities to implement your own ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media
- Plan and manage a content calendar for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Create posts, carousels, reels, and graphics using Canva.
- Write simple, clear captions and hashtags relevant to Master’s and PhD students.
- Respond to comments and messages, maintaining a friendly, calm, and credible brand voice.
- Engage in relevant student and academic communities (e.g., Quora, Reddit), adhering to platform rules.
- Content Support
- Write short blog posts and FAQs on topics relevant to students (e.g., research proposals, literature reviews, viva prep).
- Assist with basic SEO, including keywords, titles, and meta descriptions.
- Tracking
- Track likes, reach, and clicks on social posts.
- Provide a short weekly update on effective strategies and future suggestions.
- Monitor trending topics and competitor pages.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong interest in digital marketing and a willingness to learn best practices.
- Basic knowledge of social media marketing, including posting, audience engagement, and understanding platform insights.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and Canva.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a remote team environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a flexible, part-time remote setup.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Outstanding performers may be offered a paid role or stipend after the internship, based on results and impact.
- Internship certificate on successful completion.
- Performance-based LinkedIn recommendation and letter of recommendation.
