Automotive Quick Service Technician/Mechanic Lube/Oil

About the Role

Pack Auto Group is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic for quick service, including lube and oil changes, at Sam Pack's Five Star Ford of Lewisville.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Handle maintenance tasks such as oil changes.
• Complete assigned repairs on time with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interact daily with service advisors, other technicians, parts associates, cashiers, sales associates, and managers.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and service advisors.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make appropriate recommendations for vehicle safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of technician's tools.
• Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of automotive basics.
• General mechanical skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools, and other types of machinery.
• Knowledge of the automotive repair life cycle.
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills (repeated).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record acceptable to company policies.
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
