Software Engineering Intern, Bengaluru

About the Role

This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Bengaluru. There is a clear opportunity for full-time employment based on performance. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work directly with the CTO and engineering team to develop and improve live and evolving product platforms. You will be involved in building real-world software features across web applications, backend systems, APIs, data processing, and AI-enabled analytics. You will get hands-on exposure to the complete software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and writing code to testing, debugging, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and web application features.
• Build and integrate REST APIs across web and mobile applications.
• Work on data processing, database operations, and integrations with external systems.
• Contribute to dashboards, reporting tools, and data-driven applications.
• Assist in developing AI-enabled analytics and credit intelligence features.
• Debug, test, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team to design and implement product features.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts and principles.
• Knowledge of backend web development and software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, and software development practices.
• Understanding of API design and integration across web and mobile applications.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant coursework, personal projects, or internship experience in software development will be an advantage.

Additional preference: Candidates who can communicate in Kannada will be preferred.
