The Role: Intern Technical Product Management

You will be the liaison between technology, product, and design. This internship involves making sure the right things are built well and shipped. Your responsibilities will include reviewing requirements, analyzing Figma flows, unblocking engineers, and tracking releases. You will learn how a real product team operates internally.

What You'll Learn & Do

  • Connect the dots: Assist in transforming product and design ideas into clear, buildable specifications with acceptance criteria.
  • Keep work on track: Support planning, break down large ideas into scoped tasks, and help identify blockers and slippage early.
  • Speak both languages: Learn to translate technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders and communicate product/UX intent to engineers.
  • See the bigger picture: Help coordinate work across teams and features to ensure alignment and prevent oversight.
  • Follow launches end-to-end: Participate in release planning, rollout, and monitoring, and take ownership of specific tasks within these processes.
  • Understand real trade-offs: Observe how features are balanced against technical debt, quality, and risk, and begin to contribute to decision-making.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Technical curiosity: Ability to read or learn to read code, understand basic APIs/databases, and think in systems.
  • Clear communication and organization skills for managing multiple tasks.
  • Self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to learn rapidly.
  • Ability to commit 30+ hours/week for 2–6 months.

Bonus points:

  • Exposure to Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, Flutter, Git/GitHub, Figma, Jira/Linear, or Postman.
  • Interest in creator/influencer commerce, video/reels, e-commerce, or marketplaces.
  • Experience with side projects, hackathons, or any demonstrated building and shipping activity.

Qualifications

  • Student, recent graduate, or career-switcher looking to enter technical product management.
