IS Intern

About the Role

Valeo Management is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IS Intern to support our Information Systems team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of IT operations and support within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving basic IT issues and escalating complex problems as needed.
• Participate in the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure and system performance.
• Support data entry, organization, and integrity tasks within various IS platforms.
• Contribute to documentation efforts, including creating and updating user guides and procedural manuals.
• Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment.
• Learn and apply company-specific IS policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members on various IS projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
