Junior Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects and interior designers in planning, designing, and executing residential and commercial interior projects.
• Prepare 2D drawings, furniture layouts, working drawings, and detailed interior drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and interior visualizations using SketchUp and other relevant software.
• Assist in selecting materials, finishes, colours, furniture, lighting, and interior accessories.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and basic presentation drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and other consultants.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure design specifications are followed.
• Understand client requirements and assist in translating them into practical design solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure drawings are updated as per project requirements.
• Follow project timelines and assist in completing assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is preferred.
• Knowledge of rendering software such as V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or similar tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and interior working drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of interior layouts, furniture planning, materials, and construction details.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail, aesthetics, and practical design.
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work on real-time projects.
• Must be open to site visits and coordination with contractors when required.
• Candidates should be sincere, proactive, organised, and committed to meeting deadlines.
