Role Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Intern who is detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about protecting digital systems. You will work with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security practices, and support secure system operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security threats
• Support vulnerability assessment and basic penetration testing
• Help implement security policies, controls, and best practices
• Analyze security logs and incident reports
• Assist in securing web applications and APIs
• Support awareness documentation and security reporting
• Work on basic cloud and data security practices

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals
• Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Familiarity with common threats, malware, and attacks
• Basic understanding of Linux/Windows systems

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark
• Basic Cloud Security knowledge (AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with SIEM concepts
• Knowledge of scripting (Python/Bash)
• Git/GitHub basics

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related fields
• Final-year students and freshers are welcome

Internship Opportunity

• Duration: 3 Months
• Timing: Flexible (Part-time, ~3 hours/day)
