Data Science & Analytics Intern

About the Opportunity

Future Interns is seeking a Data Science & Analytics Intern to assist with data-focused assignments during the October 2026 internship cycle. The intern will work with assigned datasets and support activities such as data preparation, exploratory analysis, visualization, reporting, and documentation. This role is suited to candidates who enjoy working with data and have a basic understanding of analytical methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare datasets for assigned analysis.
• Perform basic data cleaning and validation.
• Conduct exploratory analysis to identify patterns and trends.
• Use Python, SQL, or spreadsheet tools for assigned tasks.
• Create charts and visualizations that communicate findings clearly.
• Assist with dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau where required.
• Document analytical methods, assumptions, and observations.
• Review datasets for inconsistencies and flag potential issues.
• Help prepare concise summaries of analytical findings.
• Collaborate with project members on assigned data tasks.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of data analysis or statistics.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and data organization.
• Logical and analytical thinking.
• Basic understanding of data visualization.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
