About the Role
Odyssey Tours and Travels is seeking a Reservations Ticketing Consultant to join their India ticketing team. This role focuses on handling airline ticketing queries for corporate and leisure clients for travel within India.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer inquiries and flight ticket reservations, including issuance of tickets.
- Providing information on flight schedules, fares, and connections based on customer travel requirements.
- Managing client expectations and deliverables effectively and in a timely manner.
- Handling customer complaints.
- Booking client meal and seat preferences.
- Assisting clients with ancillary bookings (excess baggage, extra leg room seats, etc.).
- Assisting with web check-in and special needs (wheelchair, airport assistance, etc.).
- Assisting customers throughout their journey as required.
- Handling changes and disruptions that may arise during travel.
- Processing ticket cancellations and refunds.
- Raising invoices and following up with clients for payments.
- Maintaining a good rapport with airline sales & operations staff.
- Periodically and proactively taking client feedback.
- Staying updated with developments and changes in the travel industry.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Reservation systems (GDS / online booking systems)
- Computer knowledge, MS Office

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree is a must.
- Diploma in Travel & Tourism or IATA qualification is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in domestic airline ticketing (up to 2 years) will be an added bonus.
- Knowledge of Indian geography, airlines & airports in India is beneficial.
