Food And Beverage Steward

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tables, arrange cutlery, crockery, glassware, and service stations before restaurant opening.
• Welcome guests courteously and assist with seating arrangements when required.
• Present menus, explain menu items when needed, and take guest orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to restaurant service standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team members to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Clear used plates, reset tables, and maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas.
• Respond politely to guest requests and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and workplace safety standards.
• Refill water, replenish service supplies, and maintain the availability of restaurant essentials.
• Report guest complaints, service issues, and operational concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and shift handover activities as required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, caf, or food-and-beverage service.
• Freshers may apply if they demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food service, table setup, and restaurant hygiene is preferred.
• Polite, courteous, and guest-oriented personality.
• Good teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
