Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, leading the analysis and remediation of complex vulnerabilities using the full Checkmarx platform.
- Lead security reviews and provide consultation across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on holistic application security.
- Guide customers in adopting secure coding practices, threat modelling, and Application Security (AppSec) risk management strategies.
- Research and develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to demonstrate real-world security risks and exploitability.
- Perform advanced Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) across a wide range of programming languages and frameworks.
- Conduct in-depth Software Composition Analysis (SCA) to identify vulnerabilities in open-source components and assess associated licensing risks.
- Support and guide customers in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and API security testing strategies.
- Provide strategic remediation recommendations to development and AppSec teams based on detailed vulnerability assessments.
- Deliver technical workshops and training sessions to enhance customer maturity in application security and secure software development.
- Develop and present tailored PoCs to demonstrate the real-world exploitability of identified vulnerabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with complex technical analysis and escalations.
