Job Title: Software Testing Intern
Location: Remote (India)
Duration: 1 to 3 months
Employment Type: Full Time (Internship)
Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month

Crossing Infotech is an IT solutions company that provides technology, data and business support services to its clients. Interns work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Test websites, web applications and mobile apps manually to find bugs and usability issues.
- Write clear test cases, test scenarios, and test plans from the given requirements.
- Run test cases, record the results and report defects with clear steps and screenshots.
- Track bugs using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla or Trello until they are fixed and retested.
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and functional testing on new releases.
- Help create basic automation test scripts using Selenium with guidance from the team.
- Test APIs using Postman and check data using simple SQL queries.
- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, test cases, bug life cycle).
- Understanding of manual testing types such as functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Basic knowledge of Selenium or any test automation tool.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar.
- Good analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English communication.
- Candidates must have a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Postman, API testing, and basic SQL.
- Basic understanding of Java or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Git.
- Any software testing course, certification (ISTQB) or project experience.

- Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc or any related field.
- Freshers interested in building a career in software testing and quality assurance.
