About the Role
JobBricks is a career and talent platform connecting professionals with organizations. The Software Engineering Intern role is a full-time, on-site position in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software components for the JobBricks platform and internal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean and efficient code.
- Contribute to back-end web development.
- Debug and test features.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on technical implementations.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Document technical work.
- Learn best practices in software engineering and version control.
- Gain hands-on experience in building scalable solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming.
- Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git).
- Ability to learn quickly and take feedback constructively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
