About the Role
Full-time, remote from anywhere in the United States. You will look after the whole employee lifecycle for a small firm, from the offer letter to the last day.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer letters and onboarding
- I-9 and state new hire reporting
- Benefits enrollment and open enrollment questions
- Employee records
- PTO and leave
- Maintaining the handbook in line with each state's rules
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in HR (internships count)
- Knowledge of Gusto, Rippling, or BambooHR
- Familiarity with Form I-9 and E-Verify
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience working with employees in multiple states, each with its own rules for hiring, pay notices, and leave.
Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or PHR (also welcome)
- HR degree (also welcome)
