About the Role
EY is seeking Full Stack Engineers for its Service Delivery Center, a team of high-performing US-based colleagues working closely with experienced advisory professionals. This role involves delivering Technology project-based work and managed services to clients, focusing on modernizing applications, creating new ones, and driving business efficiency. The position is fast-paced and requires flexibility, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to manage changing priorities and learn new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery, and support of Technology solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions.
- Assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy distributed software applications.
- Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
- Deliver engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing, based on a proven agile methodology.
- Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of the current technology environment and industry trends, and provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Prior full stack software product development experience.
- Preferred understanding of DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
- Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure.
- Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design.
- Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience building applications/platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including experience with IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.
- Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing and knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques.
- Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in technology software development.
Ideal Experience
- Experience with Akka/Scala.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
- Experience with ElasticSearch.
- Experience with Hadoop/Spark/Flume.
- Experience with Mongo/Cassandra/Any NoSQL DB.
