About the Role
This role involves preparing detailed architectural drawings for construction and providing hands-on exposure to various stages of architectural documentation and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural construction drawings, GFC drawings, and working drawings.
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, wall sections, and architectural detail drawings.
- Prepare door-window schedules, flooring layouts, reflected ceiling plans, toilet details, staircase details, and other architectural drawings.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP services.
- Assist in preparing construction details, material specifications, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
- Interpret architectural concepts and design drawings and translate them into accurate, execution-ready drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on client, consultant, and site requirements.
- Maintain drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations, and documentation quality.
- Coordinate with senior architects, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and drawing-related issues.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural software will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of architectural construction materials, building components, construction techniques, and detailing.
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop architectural drawings with accuracy.
- Knowledge of coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work within project timelines.
- Candidates with a practical understanding of on-site construction processes will be preferred.
Qualifications
- B.Arch degree from a recognised university/institution.
- 02 years of relevant experience in architectural working drawings and construction documentation.
- Freshers with strong technical drawing skills may also apply.
