Job Summary
Pharmacy interns assist and support pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient-focused manner to promote the safe and effective use of medications. Interns will work under direct supervision of registered pharmacists and will not perform duties which legally are to be performed by a registered pharmacist only. Responsibilities will be determined based on the specific training and skill set of each intern as well as department needs. Each year of intern employment will progress to increasing levels of clinical involvement designed to extend the role of the pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Active registration as a pharmacy intern in the State of Florida.
- Ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
- Current enrollment in a College of Pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Current enrollment in a College of Pharmacy.
- Required License and Certs: Active registration as a pharmacy intern in the State of Florida.
- Employment Screening Requirements: Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
