About the Role

In this full-time position as an Engineering Consultant, you will support the development and optimization of medical devices throughout their entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical requirements.
• Participate in innovation and development projects.
• Create technical documentation.
• Support the establishment and maintenance of quality management systems.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams.
• Accompany validation and verification activities.
• Assist clients in implementing regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Engineering, Medical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Initial experience in the medical device industry.
• Sound knowledge in product development and innovation, ideally with experience in medical device design and handling intellectual property (patents, protective rights).
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 13485) and regulatory requirements in the medical device sector.
• Experience with validation, verification, and risk management is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing technology, process optimization, and Design for Manufacturing, including collaboration with manufacturing partners and suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills, structured working methods, and high problem-solving competence.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
• Good English language skills, written and spoken.
• Further language skills are advantageous.
• Willingness for continuous further training and to work in a dynamic, technology-oriented environment.
