About the Role

Camunda is seeking an Account Development Representative (ADR I) to join our energetic outbound Account Development team. This role serves as a strong entry point into tech sales, focusing on learning and refining prospecting, discovery, and pipeline generation fundamentals within an enterprise software environment. You will work closely with Account Executives and be responsible for prospecting your own territory. A remote environment conducive to consistent weekly activities and willingness to travel 4-6 times per year are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting via email, phone, event outreach and attendance, and LinkedIn into target accounts.
  • Qualify inbound interest through ADR-led scheduled calls and convert into booked meetings for Account Executives.
  • Research accounts, personas, and signals to tailor and leverage AI for high-touch, low-impact motions.
  • Partner with Account Executives to understand criteria for quality meetings, contacts, and accounts, and adjust approach based on feedback.
  • Maintain excellent operational hygiene by tracking activity and pipeline health in Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Learn Camunda's product, value propositions, and the process orchestration space to engage in credible conversations with prospects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Some experience with outbound prospecting or customer-facing communication is preferred (internships, retail, hospitality, or customer support count if rapport building, expectation management, and handling rejection are demonstrated).
  • Comfort with strict time management and prioritization.
  • Motivation driven by the quantitative aspects of sales activities (calls and emails).
  • Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn a technical product.
  • Resilience and self-awareness to persist without discouragement and identify ineffective approaches.
  • Coachability to take feedback seriously and make timely, meaningful adjustments to your approach.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships with curiosity about how things work and who can provide support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.

This role is an existing vacancy for the US West region. If not located in this region, you are encouraged to submit your details to our ADR Talent Pool.

Compensation

Annual Total Cash (base salary + 100% variable):

  • United States: $91,000 to $181,700

Equity: Offered through our Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).

Benefits & Perks

  • Remote & Flexible: Work from anywhere, home office budget, co-working space support, flexible time off.
  • In Person Connection: Annual Kickoff, team offsites, Camundi Connection Budgets.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Locally tailored healthcare, Modern Health for mental wellbeing, Live Well Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA).
  • Financial Security: Retirement and pension plans, life and disability insurance.
  • Professional Growth: Up to $/€/£1,000 per year for self-driven learning.
