About the Role
This traineeship role is for a Data Analysis Trainee in a remote setting. The trainee will work with datasets to clean, organize, and validate data for analysis and reporting. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in data analytics while contributing to projects that support MedTourEasy’s healthcare-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic data analysis.
- Assist in building simple data models.
- Support the creation of dashboards or reports under guidance from senior team members.
- Interpret data trends.
- Prepare documentation.
- Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfort with spreadsheets and/or data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or introductory BI tools) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics abilities, with interest in working with real-world datasets.
- Basic understanding of Statistics and its application in data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with Data Modeling concepts or willingness to learn and apply them in practical scenarios.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for explaining data findings to non-technical team members.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate virtually with the team.
- Current student or recent graduate in a quantitative, technical, or related field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics) preferred.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and methods in data analytics.
