About the Role
The SEO Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting keyword research.
- Perform basic SEO audits.
- Support on-page optimization activities for client websites.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools.
- Contribute to link-building efforts.
- Prepare simple reports on SEO activities and outcomes.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing and web development teams.
- Learn and apply SEO best practices.
- Stay updated on search engine guidelines and trends.
Qualifications
- Foundational SEO skills, including Keyword Research and On-Page SEO.
- Ability to support technical and content-related SEO Audits.
- Basic understanding of Link Building techniques and outreach practices.
- Familiarity with Web Analytics tools and interpreting key performance metrics.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Interest in digital marketing, search engines, and web technologies.
- Prior internship or coursework in SEO is an advantage.
