About the Role
Laneway is a next-generation business management consulting company. This remote internship role as Social Media Marketing Manager Intern involves supporting the planning and execution of social media campaigns across key platforms. The intern will assist in creating and scheduling posts, optimizing content for engagement, and monitoring performance metrics to inform future strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in content brainstorming.
- Assist with Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Contribute to digital marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Respond to audience interactions where appropriate.
- Prepare simple reports on campaign performance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Skills in Content Strategy and Digital Marketing.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook) and basic analytics tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated interest in start-ups, technology, and modern business trends is a plus.
