About the Role
We are seeking curious, analytical, and self-driven individuals who enjoy solving problems, asking meaningful questions, and understanding software from both technical and business perspectives. At Spiralogics, we value curiosity over rote learning and encourage our QA interns to ask "Why?", "How?", and "What if?", challenge assumptions, understand business requirements, and think beyond predefined test cases to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Ask "Why?", "How?", and "What if?" to understand business requirements.
- Challenge assumptions and think beyond predefined test cases.
- Identify edge cases and think creatively to improve software quality.
- Understand software from both technical and business perspectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners, in an Agile environment.
- Participate in requirement discussions, sprint activities, and QA team collaboration.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiar with software testing, SDLC, and STLC.
- Basic programming knowledge in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), or Generative AI concepts.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), or innovative college projects will be an added advantage.
- Participation in AI-related hackathons, research projects, internships, or open-source contributions is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, Git, or test automation concepts is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed or final semester) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think beyond standard scenarios.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems from multiple perspectives.
- Think beyond expected scenarios and proactively identify edge cases, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Have a natural curiosity to understand the "why," "how," and "what if" behind business requirements rather than simply following instructions.
- Ask thoughtful questions to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, and contribute to better software quality.
- Have a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and emerging technologies.
- Communicate ideas, observations, and recommendations clearly and professionally while working effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Academic projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, or Generative AI will be an advantage.
