About the Role

Great Lakes Additive LLC is seeking a full-time Sales Associate for a hybrid position based in Traverse City, MI. This role involves supporting clients through the sales process, from initial contact to order completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day customer interactions.
• Respond to inquiries.
• Support clients through the sales process.
• Identify and qualify leads.
• Prepare quotes.
• Update customer records.
• Coordinate with internal teams for accurate and timely delivery of products and services.
• Maintain regular follow-up.
• Track sales activities.
• Contribute to sales reporting and forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Support overall revenue growth.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Sales and account management capabilities, including lead qualification, follow-up, and basic negotiation.
• Comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools, email, and standard office software.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn technical product details and explain solutions to customers.
• High level of reliability, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (on-site in Traverse City, MI and remote).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, manufacturing, or related fields is beneficial.
• Post-secondary education in business or a related area is a plus but not required.
