About the Role

Joey's Rosticceria and Bar is seeking a Dishwasher/Restaurant Attendant to join our team. This role is essential to keeping daily operations running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, equipment, and workspaces are properly cleaned and maintained. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen and restaurant environment, while also assisting with basic prep tasks and light exterior upkeep to keep the property welcoming and orderly.

Compensation

$16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils according to health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Ensure all wares are correctly stored and ready for use.
• Assist with trash removal and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and maintain overall cleanliness of the back-of-house areas.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by restocking items, utensils, or equipment as needed.
• Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, and guest spaces when required.
• Assist with organizing supplies and maintaining an orderly work environment.
• Water outdoor planters as scheduled to maintain healthy and presentable greenery.
• Pick up trash and debris in the outdoor areas to keep the property clean and welcoming.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Able to handle high heat and moisture.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
