About the Role

Lumus is Astrotalk’s platform for users in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. As a Counsellor, you will be the voice of Lumus. You will hold supportive, one-on-one conversations that help people feel heard, understand their patterns, and move forward with greater clarity in relationships, personal growth and life decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build rapport in the first minutes of every conversation, so users feel comfortable opening up.
• Practise active and reflective listening: paraphrase, validate emotions without judgment, and ask open-ended questions that help users explore their own thoughts.
• Guide users toward their own insights and realistic next steps, rather than giving direct advice or telling them what to do.
• Adapt your tone and approach to each user’s emotional state, cultural background and communication style across the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
• Handle sensitive conversations with empathy, patience and strict confidentiality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent written and verbal English, with a natural, warm conversational tone
• Strong active listening, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
• Background or interest in psychology, counselling, or human behaviour (a degree in Psychology or a related field is a plus, not mandatory)
• Work from Office
• Mode: 6 Days (Mon-Sat)
• Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM
• Location: Sector 125, Noida

Compensation

• ₹3 LPA Fixed + upto 2 LPA Performance Based Incentives
