Fashion Design Intern

About the Role

Modo Caldo is seeking a creative, organized, and highly attentive Fashion Designer & Merchandiser Intern with a strong eye for fashion and excellent command of fashion illustration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end management of production, from sampling and sourcing to final garment completion.
• Assist with designing and developing collections, including research, concept development, and garment detailing.
• Create high-quality fashion sketches and technical illustrations for designs and production.
• Coordinate with vendors, artisans, and production teams to ensure timely execution and quality.
• Assist in managing stockists, including inventory, orders, dispatches, and communication.
• Maintain production, sampling, and merchandising records and ensure smooth coordination across teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong fashion design fundamentals and exceptional sketching skills.
• Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
• A sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in fashion.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on studio environment.
