Project Intern

About the Role

The Project Intern will support planning, coordination, and execution of tree-planting and related environmental projects in and around Gurugram. This is a hybrid role, where the intern will spend part of the time at project sites or the office in Gurugram and part of the time working from home as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with project documentation.
• Track timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate with partner organizations and community members.
• Support event logistics.
• Gather data and feedback from projects.
• Prepare basic reports and presentations.
• Contribute to social media or outreach materials as needed.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Attend internal meetings.
• Support any ad hoc activities that enable smooth project delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to assist with project coordination, including maintaining schedules, tracking tasks, and supporting on-site activities.
• Basic skills in documentation and reporting, such as preparing notes, project summaries, and simple presentations.
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders, including community members, partners, and internal teams in a professional manner.
• Familiarity with productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and willingness to learn new digital tools.
• Availability to travel within Gurugram for project-related activities as required.

Qualifications

• Interest in environmental sustainability, climate action, or community development initiatives.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Current student or recent graduate in any discipline; background in environmental studies, social sciences, or management is an advantage but not required.
