About the Role

Lino - Zipzap Toys Pvt Ltd is seeking a part-time remote Android Developer to design, build, and maintain Android applications that complement and enhance the company’s toy and digital product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement user interfaces following Android design principles.
• Integrate APIs and backend services.
• Optimize app performance.
• Ensure compatibility across devices.
• Collaborate with product and design teams.
• Write clean and testable code.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Manage tasks independently.
• Meet project timelines.
• Contribute ideas to improve mobile user experiences.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Mobile Application Development and working with mobile applications across different form factors and OS versions.
• Skills in Android Development and Android Design, including familiarity with Material Design guidelines and Android SDK components.
• Skills in Software Development, including object-oriented programming, version control (e.g., Git), and debugging.
• Experience with Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Experience with RESTful API integration.
• Understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage part-time schedules effectively.

Qualifications

• Prior experience building and publishing Android apps, especially in consumer or gaming domains, is an advantage.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
