About The Role
Camunda is seeking an Account Development Representative I (ADR I) to join their energetic and tightly-knit Account Development team. This role is a strong entry point into tech sales, focusing on learning and refining the fundamentals of prospecting, discovery, and pipeline generation within an enterprise software context. You will work directly with Account Executives and be responsible for prospecting into your own designated patch. A remote environment conducive to consistent weekly motions is required, along with the ability to travel 4-6 times per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting via email, phone, event outreach and attendance, and LinkedIn targeting specific accounts.
- Qualify inbound interest through ADR-led scheduled calls and convert them into booked meetings for Account Executives.
- Research accounts, personas, and signals to tailor approaches and leverage AI for high-touch, low-impact motions.
- Partner with Account Executives to define quality meetings, contacts, and accounts, and adjust approach based on feedback.
- Maintain excellent operational hygiene by tracking activity and pipeline health in Salesforce and other sales tools to monitor personal inputs and performance.
- Develop a strong understanding of Camunda's product and value propositions, and the process orchestration space, to conduct credible and valuable conversations with prospects in specific verticals.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Outbound prospecting or customer-facing communication experience is preferred (internships, retail, hospitality, or customer support count if rapport building, expectation management, and handling rejection are demonstrated).
- Comfort with strict time management and prioritization of requests.
- Motivation by data and performance metrics related to call and email volume.
- Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn a technical product.
- Resilience and self-awareness to persevere through challenges and adapt approaches.
- Coachability: ability to take feedback seriously and implement changes promptly.
- Aptitude for building and nurturing cross-functional relationships.
- Remote environment conducive to consistent weekly motions.
- Ability to travel 4-6 times per year, typically for a week or less at a time.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda's product.
Compensation
