About the Role
- This role focuses on managing large-scale enterprise migration programs within the Atlassian ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-migration assessments.
- Perform test/sandbox migrations.
- Execute production cutovers.
- Develop rollback plans.
- Conduct post-migration data validation.
- Engage technical teams on scope, dependencies, architecture trade-offs, feasibility, effort, and migration risks.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Atlassian Guard.
- Good understanding of Atlassian workflows, permissions, spaces, macros, and administration concepts.
- Experience with Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and enterprise migration methodologies.
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Pre-migration assessments
- Test/sandbox migrations
- Production cutovers
- Rollback planning
- Post-migration data validation
- Understanding of Atlassian Marketplace app compatibility, licensing, and replacement/migration paths.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, including SSO, user directories, domains, and identity consolidation.
- Ability to operate effectively across AMER and APAC time zones.
- Strong analytical, risk-management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Technically conversant enough to challenge assumptions and drive decisions without becoming a delivery bottleneck.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise migration programs.
- Strong project/program management and migration governance expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills.
